(Section 475.5015, Florida Statutes) Each broker shall maintain a sign on or about the entrance of all offices, principal and branch, that can be easily observed and read by any person about to enter said office. For an individual broker, the sign must contain the name of the broker, along with any applicable trade name.
The same statute contains an exception: You may “pay a referral fee or share a real estate brokerage commission with a broker licensed or registered under the laws of [another U.S.] state,” so long as the non-Florida broker does not violate any Florida laws.
